This picture started from a selection of Indian silk fabrics l had and they were always hidden away in a box, so l decided to use them and bring them into the open. They were all bonded together, some were enriched with gold leaf and all were handstitched. Gold cord was made and drizzled across and sequins and beads were stitched on.
